The Welfare Payment Infrastructure Transformation (WPIT) Programme has made improvements to focus on the people– both staff and customers.
WPIT is changing the way the Department of Human Services works across face-to-face, phone and digital interactions. They have already achieved:
- improvements to student payments
- streamlined digital service design
- digital assistants
- more straight-through processing
- improved staff processing workflows.
WPIT is continuing its transformation with a focus on data collection, sharing and re-use to improve its customer experience.
