The Australian Public Service: what we do is literally in our name. We need to be relevant and fit for purpose. We must deliver high quality results for Australian citizens and businesses in the most efficient way possible.
Modernising the public sector is about making sure we continue to be a useful part of the everyday life of Australians. We need to ask questions like ‘can we do things more effectively?’ and ‘did we co-design that program or service with the people who use it?’

The Department of Finance-hosted exhibition is in March and will highlight around 20 projects, including Geoscience Australia’s exciting Digital Earth project, the DTA’s Digital Identity and DHS’ Welfare Payment Infrastructure Transformation.
